Many will call me an adventurer - and that I am, only one of a different sort: one of those who risks his skin to prove his platitudes- Ernesto Che Guevara(June 14,1928-October 9,1967)

temme, why are you so inspired by dis guy??
hmm…
i have my reasons, they are:
1) He was a revolutionist
2) He was a leftist, if you knw iam as well.
3) He stood against the superpower (USA) for his people until he was killed with the help of CIA.
4) Most probably you are unaware of the fact that he was the first revolutionary leader who came up with GUERILLA FIGHTing style which is still practiced by many freedom fighting movements.
and yeh reason no#5 He was a GEMINI ![]()
Actually guerrilla fighting techniques were utilized during the Revolutionary War, but I dod not know about the first time they were used.
Yes they were and I regard Che Guevara as a revolutionary. Dont you?
Boldness of this man to stick to his heart when he could have had a easy go life is what i like of him

Ernesto Guevara was a coward and a murderer.
4) Most probably you are unaware of the fact that he was the first revolutionary leader who came up with GUERILLA FIGHTing style which is still practiced by many freedom fighting movements.
If I am not mistaken it was Mao Zedong who introduced Gerilla warfare and even wrote books on tactics and strategies. If I find a reference I will get back to you about it….
that’l be very nice of you taimoor. i ll be looking forward to it.
thnkyou for commenting.
I didnt look around a lot but couldn’t find a reference to it on Wikipedia. However, the fact about Mao was in Musharfs book - In the Line of Fire. I am reading it in the bathroom only so its somewhere in the first few chapters.
im sorry but Uncle Mush’s book don fancies me at all and i don think so that any info based on the crappy book is authentic.
When first time ever i checked your site, this was the first post i read.
I wanted to comment but chicken out because my knowledge regarding this person was pretty limited. Even now I’m confused because wikipedia wasn’t satisfying enough and no matter how many articles i read about him, he ie either potrayed as national hero or evil person disturbing peace and brewing hartered among people. To some he was worth worshipping and to some he was spitting at. Come to think of it, even in this region, there are many who are like him like Mujeeb-ur-Rehman and now in Balochistan we see people going crazy over Bagti….
no no no
he’s not even close to those morons ![]()
I suggest you to watch ‘ MOTOR CYLCE DIARIES’ this spanish movie is based on the diaries tht he maintained while he was travelling Latin America when he was of my age. The movie expalins us what revolutionarize the life of this great leader.
Ok, don’t be dissing on Che. He was amazing. He is the modern day robin hood. Coward? I don’t think so. Someone willing to stand up to the government and fight for the rights of all his people is no coward in my book. Just because someone goes against the government. The crimes against his people done by his own government were atrocious. Maybe if there were more people like Che, there wouldn’t be so many countries in which the people were treated so poorly by their own government. Stand up! Especially in countries where you have the right but even when you don’t, it is almost as wrong to sit back and do nothing than to be the one doing the wrong unto others. Basically, I am very pro-Che so don’t be hatin’ Peace out.
@ Meghan
thnx for ur comments Meghan. I cant agree more to what u said. Wht inspires me the most abt him is that he was a common man like most of us and still he had the balls to stand up and fight fpr the rights of his ppl.
The world could really use more people like Che. I’m glad you agree. He gets kind of a bad rep but he was a great man and its about time more people stop complaining and take action. I’m not for violence, I’m for people coming together and uniting to make changes when they feel they are necessary. Thanks for your comments back.
VIVA FREEDOM

Che Guevara was a man to be admired. But, his revolutionary tactics are not. Revolution does not require guns, as those of you who watched the Motorcycle Diaries heard him claim it does. Proof? India
@ Nasim
tx for ur visit and comment.
All revolutions are original. so one cant relate one to the other. the biggest revolution of our time was the Iranian revolution. It was started by Philospheres and relics like Ali Sharaiti and Imam Khomeini but blood was spilled as it was necessary. One can be as non violent as possible but one has to hit the nail onthe head.
@Andres Cienfuego

Che. Nuestro hermano sudamericano. Cuanta falta hace ahora, cuando los “revolucionarios” modernos y tan falsos como sus propias teorías.

che guevara ! My hero …. Still alive in the hearts of all
All interesting stuff. I just finished watching The Motorcycle Diaries and found it very captivating. In the early days(which the period the film describes), Che was obviously driven and inspired by what he saw(and most probably was) an unjust political system that was making life increasingly difficult for the indigenous peoples of Sth America. To step up to the plate and try to make a difference in such matters can be nothing but applauded no matter where you are from. However as history shows, great men can often lose direction when given a free reign and not held to account for their actions.
I believe his intentions and drive were very admirable.
!!!!!!!!!!!Eres lo maximo……la muerte solo existe en los cobardes….
for us the hondurian people he was mostly a great man but i can say he is a tru heroe, not matter what the american pipo say about che solomente nosotros savemos la verdad y su historia!!!

burada koşulları bi kenara bırakıp sadece yüzeysel bi bakışla che yi devrimini mücadelesini tanımlamaya çalışan kişiler var!silahsız devrim toplumun huzuru ya da gerilla taktiği…bunlar onun şartlarının gerektirdikleriydi!şundan emin olun ki ona katil diyen lerden daha duyarlı v buna karşıdır commandante che guevara!!!!!!!
komüznizm dünyaya ne getirmiş sadece baskı işkence açlık gertirmiştir.birde 270milyon insan açlıktan ölmüştür.komizmin sonu hep hüsranla bitmiştir
He is good or bad we dont know he is a warrior at heart, if fidel would have heeded and followed chinese style now cuba would have been richer than china
OJALA HOY DIA EXISTIERAN HOMBRES COMO EL.FUE UN GRAN LIDER Y UN EJEMPLO A SEGUIR HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE Y Q VIVA PUERTO RICO LIBRE!!!!!!
the thing is that the real socialist was guevara not castro, castro is just a mother fucker who got crazy with the power he got, castro didnt even know shit about comunism prior to meeting guevara. plus castro is the one who really killed guevara because if he would’ve send help to che when he was in bolivia he might’ve still be alive. but castro refused to help him for one simple reason the cubans loved che, and castro, being the mother fucker he is, knew that if che stayed in cuba and if he did not like with castro was doing with the country he could’ve easily overtrow castro and thats the reason why castro didnt helped him because he doesnt care about cubans, or anyone for that matter all he cares about is the power and the money he has
Ghe Guevara was one of history’s biggest cowards. He murdered innocent women and children, stole from the poor, ratted out his party when he was captured, and cried like a baby before he was executed. People who idolize this guy have never read a page history book or they’re just sheep following the MTV generation.
God bless the CIA for helping destroy the piece of garbage.
Hahahaha
*GOD bless CIA*
man you are ridiculuosly funny and plus you dont make no sene ![]()
he was the legend of the legend, the hardcore the stone that i will use the freedom figthing

Che kicks ass
all you ppl that are dissing him are likely doing so just because you have a stereotypical viewpoint of communism.
Che is my #1 hero.
VIVA CHE!!! VIVA LIBERTY!!
Hello.
I just came across your comments while searching for a picture of Che for making a poster.
After reading the comments you guys have posted, I felt compelled to provide some lengthy insight into the life of the revolutionary known to many as Che Guevara.
Ammar first:
1. Che Guevara was a revolutionary, indeed. But what does a revolutionary mean? A revolutionary is a person ( of any political allegiance whatsoever ) that rises up against a pre-established system and tries to overthrow the existing leadership by utilizing an armed struggle and attempts to gain political power through violence. So, right there, you are right… Che was a Revolutionary. [not Revolutionist, I do hate to nitpick though
].
2. Che wasn’t exactly what you could refer to as a Leftist in modern terminology. Ofcourse, his political leanings were of a Left-Wing origins. But in modern phraseology, a person who describes himself as a Leftist indicates that he is moderate Left-of-Center in the political continuum. As such, a person who professes of being Leftist is a moderate liberal who only concurs ( even that with little agreement ) to the economic mode of Communist-Thought. But not to Dialectic Materialism and Socialism.
Che’s political allegiance is what you can call Marxism-Leninism, that advocated the total overthrow of the Burgois Class of a given society and then establishing the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. That’s a really really far cry from the liberal bullshit called Leftism.
3. Once again, correction. Che did not stand up against the super power called United States of America. He stood against Capitalism, He stood against exploitation of workers worldwide. America is only the representative of Capitalism. In no encounter do we see Che engaging himself directly against the United States, but against its interests, mainly Capitalism and Imperialism.
4. Che only wrote his experiences with Guerrilla fighting in his book entitled Guerrilla Warfare. But the techniques he speaks about were employed as far as time goes. The Zapatista fighters of Mexico employed such a technique. So did Simon Bolivar, So did Garibaldi, so did Jose Marti ( Cuban National Hero )… I could go on and on. But the end boils up to the fact that Che did not come up with Guerrilla fighting techniques to my knowledge, but rather documented it by paralleling his experiences in the Cuban Revolution vis-a-vis the histories of the above-mentioned fighters.
5. I’m not well versed in matters of horoscope ( as I am an Atheist and believe them to be just a nuisance and a mere indulgence in a whim of fantasy that happens to be so pointless). But I believe Che wasn’t a Gemini. According to this website’s table that slates date of births against their respective Horoscope signs, [http://www.metta.org.uk/star/zodiac.asp] a Gemini is a person born between the dates of May 21 - June 21. But Che was actually born on the date of May 14, 1928.
Although Guevara’s birth date is credited as June 14, 1928 he was born on May 14, 1928. Jon Lee Anderson, in his book entitled Che Guevara, a Revolutionary Life [ this book happens to be the most authoritative biography of Che Guevara to date , and happens to be a good read ] claims that Che was born a month earlier. Because of the fact that Che was born to a society that is a staunch and predominant catholic, which frowns upon sex before marriage, Che’s mother was knocked-up before she was married to his father. To avoid gossip, his parents went to a far city to have the baby. And made the necessary changes to the birth document.
According to the above mentioned book, his mother disclosed this to a local fortune-teller later after his death. No accounts on Che knowing his real birth of date exist, by the way.
And also, the movie motor cycle diaries does not really paint a picture of who Che was, it doesn’t talk about many encounters that happened to him and he records in his diaries. There are a lot of omitted references in the book that were never mentioned in the Movie.
WrathChild…
Mao Zedong and Che existed around the same time my friend. But there is also a fundamental difference in Maoist thought [ Whose rank-and-file are composed of peasants who at their best are militia], and a well-trained group of combatants thay employ Guerrilla techniques. In the latter it is strategic mode-of-fighting, where as in the former, it is just a hit-and-run type of warfare operation.
Blake, God bless the CIA??? LoL.. They Made Che Alive, As they Never Wanted him to Be, they gave him a Hero’s death. And showed their true colors by murdering him ![]()
I’ll finish here….
HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE!!
U see such a greatest man he was.. present young generations should learn lots from him..if u start praise him u will be in trouble for searching the words.
Ernesto is my wish & love
VIVA Ernesto………VIVA
HOW CAN ANYONE GIVE PRAISE TO A MAN WHO ORDERED THE EXECUTIONS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE WITHOUT EVEN GIVING THE TRIALS??? I would be willing to bet that the majority of the people who posted some of the idiotic comments before me would fall into the same economic, “bourgeoisie” class that Che wanted to kill off. I can understand agreeing with some of his principles, such as the desire for equality of the lower class, but to give praise to a mass murderer is despicable. AND THE LAUGHABLE THING IS THIS: as i stated before, he would have killed the morons that are now praising him if he had the chance while he was alive. Che Guevara was a monster and a coward- he begged for his life at the feet of his capturers in Bolivia- and the only “battles” he was a part of were when he murdered unarmed, blindfolded people. Anyone who gives praise to a monster like Che Guevara is simply ignorant, no if ands or buts about it.
