Akram Khan Durrani, NWFP’s Chief Minister has finally decided to dissolve his Government. I think he deserves a good round of applause or perhaps a standing ovation. This move will really stop the General from taking oath. I am sure he must be really petrified on this attack, he never saw it coming 
For the past 60 years the so called religious parties criticized and destabilized every elected Pakistani Government with the aid of agencies and military establishment. In comparison to their contemporaries, they posed and pretended themselves to be the most righteous and patriotic, despite their non concealable history; where they preferred Gandhi’s and Nehru’s Congress on Jinnah’s & Iqbal’s Muslim league.
Regardless of their negative propagandas and million marches nobody trusted them even with their votes. Then 9/11 incident took place and these religious parties hit what you call a jack pot and the hatred for USA became their ticket to Lala land. Now this time they had all the opportunity to turn this part of the land a welfare state. They had a chance to make NWFP an example to follow. But what did they do? Nothing. How can they when the only thing that they ever did was mud slugging and besides that they are as dump as a box of rocks.
If you compare the two parties that helped Musharraf more then his worthless and good for nothing Q league ie the self proclaimed liberals MQM and right wing MMA. Then MMA did more favors to the Gen. in uniform in comparison. Take 17th Amendment which helped him to secure his seat for the second time, or when Fazal broke ARD and made a phonier version aka APDM and last but not the least when the apposition parties decided to weaken the credibility of the Presidential elections Maulana Sahib very deceitfully and deviously betrayed the apposition.
I don’t want to be rude here but I think these mullahs are the worst kind of leadership a country can ever have. A bad influence to the young generation of the society, I don’t remember for once that they ever did a favor to the country. They encourage us to go on Jihad and give our lives for Islam. But when their very own life is in danger some cross dresses, some get themselves conveniently arrested in their parliament lodges and some run away and go for UMRA

These Mulla party always have a good relationship with Army guys like previously when General Zia ul haq made the government like MUSH then his alliance was with the father of PML-Q’s chaiman’s father(Chaudri Shujat’s father) and in the opposition there was Mudti Mahmood. I hope u guys knows what relation Mufti Mahmood has with Fazal ul Rehman.

The points you discussed in this article of yours are no doubt correct,.. but on the basis of few people act,… why banishing all Mullahs as some degradory creatures? …Maulana is a highly prestigeous title, used to bestow on those who were scholar once..this title is being exploited now but that dosn’t mean good Maulanas are an extinct case!.. I once had very good discussion regarding this with my Computer teacher, himself a maulana and he cleared lots of my misconceptions.. there are people out there who are exploiting religion and their true motive is to degrade Mullah to such level that they will become source of contempt instead of icons of respect they once were…
As far as Mullahs against the establishment of Pakistan..Sir Syed Ahmed Khan was a Maulana as well..Maulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar was a Maulana too…And what they did for Muslins of South-Asia is beyong expression, they were very much in favour of seperate Muslim state,.. so your point here is not valid that all Mullahs were against Muslim League!

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry or do what! Probably, everyone was shocked by maulana FazalurRahman. And I don’t agree less. I was shocked by all those statements as I watched TV all day long that day! But please don’t bring maulanas of the past into this.
We’ve seen what the so-called secular leaders have done to this land. It’s easy to criticize maulanas but how could you do away with the NATIONAL RECONCILIATION BILL?! So now the money the politicians have looted, and have mills and mansions out of that money, there’s no punishment on that! We’ll just forgive them for making this country handicapped and welcome them with open arms and cry,” COme we’ve some blood left!” MAulanas might be good for nothing people. Atleast they don’t sit in London, Jeddah or somewhere else and claim their love for Pakistan while draining people of their blood! Apart from that so much for Shaukat Aziz’s stock exchange ploy! And please don’t get me started over the privitsation of PTCL and KESC and the hypicrisy of so-called “enlightened moderation”

well.. pr3rna, I would like to disagree with you… the JI and JUI are having problems geting along with each other. So, maybe Qazi Sahab would remain a part of MMA but JI, they donot trust JUI anymore. Well.. let’s see what happens…
I personally think that the MUllahs as they appear to be so self acclaimed GODS warrior should be less corrupted. its not only the MULLAHS u see at the tele but corruption and deception is deep routed in 80% of these freaks. they live their lives on CHANDAY KI KAMAI. Differentiate us on the basis of hatred. there are sects in ISLAM which is a reality but why the hatred is so accentuated in PAKISTAN (keep IRAQ out for a second). I tell you why because these good for nothing lazy ass mullahs tell you that shias are kafirs or barelwis are kafirs and bla bla.
so a guy who never did to proper schooling, has limited knowledge of the religion; more of the disciplines which is the secondary part is eligible to decide that i am a Muslim or not? I dont think so.

In NWFP, property is not well documented as the land owners have them since the QUEEN use to rule us. So Maulana Fazal i has taken advantage of that and nearly all the area around RAHEEM YAR KHAN and SWAT is now his property

Its not abt criticizing Mullahs but the point is whenever they get opportunity to change the leadership and bring some good ppl in establishment they actually do the opposite. Fazul ul rehman is the person who give up on 17th amendment and now he said it was a mistake . Do u consider it as a mistake?? nobody can. i know that whole establishment is corrupted but who allows them t do this??? the opposition parties.
