It was just before eleven at night, baby Muhammed was sleeping peacefully between his parents, all of a sudden there was a crashing sound. Iman (Muhammed’s mother) opened her eyes but couldn’t see a thing; she was shouting her six months baby boys’ name. Her search for their only child ended when Muhammed was found dead. The Israeli attack on the interior minister building on Saturday Feb. 28 killed many minors like Muhammed. But what makes this tragedy even more heartbreaking was the fact that the couple of Asif and Iman waited 5 whole years to have their first child.

The death of any innocent soul is a tear-jerking experience for every family and society but in my life I have never witnessed the funeral of so many babies that faced their tragic end not because of hunger, poverty or abortion but because of the fact that they opened their eyes in a troubled region among a Muslim family.

It’s very sad!! These people are inhumane ruthless monsters who believe in killing blindly! If this would have happened otherwise (Israelis babies were killed) you would have seen the whole media on their toes blaming and accusing muslims… and now they are all quiet and silent spectators. :@

This is the height of hypocrisy! If this had happened in Israel, all hell would have broken loose and the media would be giving this story so much coverage but just because it happened in Palestine and Israel supposedly has the right to strike at its whim, it gets no press coverage at all!

Just today 60 martyrs and 150 injured..
Other side: A world deeply in silence..
But you know, it just shows how much Israel is scared and weak. Their life will be mixed with fear. They are getting demolished from inside. Israeli jews dont have that feelings one can have about homeland. Just abit more pressure than Hizbullah-Israel war can remove this rascist state.
There will be new movements in muslim countries.I am opptimistic. It’s God promise. There will be no more Israel on earth, after year of 2023.. Insha’allah..

thank you simz, raza, shahrzad, beeca and nikki for your comments. 1 thing is for sure that silence of this world shows how peace loving they actually are. So to expect any kind of sympathy or any degree of condolence is just waste of time.

But what about the Muslim world, where do we stand? How great the magnitude of any tragic incident should be to unite us.

Really shocking and awful..
You’re right.. plus they are still making such a big deal over one child like Madeline McCann but what about all these babies dying here, why arent we hearing about these babies in the widespread press?

Samia on 3 March, 2008 at 11:03 am #

Its very tragic for all Muslim Umma. They are killing muslims like animals and treating them the same. May her soul rest in peace.
