Sizzling summers have yet to come but the love hate relationship between WAPDA and KESC struck the Karchiites yesterday morning. Auntie Bijlee was out for 12 or more hours in many parts of the Karachi city. Yippeee!! :D

There  cant be any replacement to the level of enjoyment one can have; when the temperature is 40 plus and there is no power to run your electronic goodies; fans, room coolers, air conditioners etc :P

One cant help oneself but to sweat and smell. Yes I am talking about the same gross feeling which will welcome you with open arms this summer. These are the few exciting things you should look out for ;)

  1. Turn on your radios and listen to the wanna be RJ’s. My (least) favorite show; The Sahir Show :P there are less SRK’s in Mumbai city then in Gulshan e Iqbal alone.

  1. Aunties don’t waste your time cooking for your family. Its gossip time ;) go out in the neighborhood and gossip about your in laws, vegetables, fashion, doctors, maids and aunty Zubaidas new car :P

  1. College students, I know board exams are ahead and you guys wanna study but you didn’t open your books the whole year, so whats the point now :P

  1. I know it sucks when people labor hard all day at work and there is no electricity when home. So what’s the point of coming back? Working overtime is as popular in summers as general Musharraf was before the Chief Justice case.

  1. Cricket is out, Hide& seek is in. Air conditioners are out, China made manual fans are in. Energy savers are out, candles are in.

Have a nice summer!
