But did anyone ever ask Ghalib WHY? Is there an tafseeli TASHREEH of it online?

As far as the tashreeh is concerned tu us mai kaunsa time lagta hai metric sy tu hr koe he krta araha hai ;). I remember that i learnt this one in 1st year, but the meaning that i understood then is completely different then what i get of it now. Think deeply as in WHY Ghalib wanted this shair soo much.

I always loved this poem though few stanza never become clear to me…

I believe its all about the simplicity this shair contains. In otehr words;

Bahut saada alfaaz mai khoobsurat baat kernaa

And remember guys Ghalib was being criticized for his tough words in urdu poetry.
