There is an unspoken code among men that compels us to keep our feelings to our own selves. It is considered totally Un-cool if any man expresses or shares the tragedies in his life, which obviously rules out the weeping part. You will often hear us whining;

“Rota wota nahee hoo jee , I am a man!”

[(No I don’t cry Mister), I am a man]

Last year a very close friend of mine lost his mother. He’s a very strong fellow. In fact at the day of the funeral he was the one, who was consoling his father and elder brother and it was not the other way around. But after several months I can witness some changes. He is not the same tough guy that he used to be. The fact that; No matter how strong the mount on the beach is, every upcoming wave will casts some damage to it.

I take this opportunity to express my affection and love for my Mother.

Haven’t you heard the famous Amitabh Bachchan dialogue-’mard ko dard nahin hota’:)Jokes apart I have seen tough men crying in camera.Kapil Dev and recently Sreesanth and many more. My own father cried more than my mother when I got married.
Like Lubz said, very touching.Make sure your mother reads it. Could be a very nice Mothers Day present for her.
