I used to wonder how it feels when people turn their favorite hobbies into a career. Like musicians love to play music and actors always wanted to impersonate on some real life or larger then life characters. But what about writers? Do all writers like to earn money by turning their favorite habit into a career.
Commercialism kills creativity, you are targeting the masses by giving them what they want and not sharing what ‘you’ want to share. Does this theory makes any sense to you?

yes it does makes sense & you’re spot on regarding the creativity but still i believe there are few artists who are what they’re..its upto that certain individual whether to sell out its creativity for bucks or earn because of his/her individualism!

I agree with you here and we have examples of artists who has chances to make more money by creating mediocre stuff but they never compromised. Example: Jimi Hendrix.
