The 3 very basic necessities of anyone’s life; we can’t imagine a life without them or can we? A man or a woman can go to any level ensuring that they are not deprived of any of these basics from their lives. Even something as important as “education” looses its priority before these important items. For those who don’t follow the politics of this country where I live in the slogan of Roti Kapra and Makaan was used again and again to earn votes.

This election it’s a bit different, this time the poor Awam is desperate for a relief. The prices of daily usage items are sky high and if the people in charge don’t take any necessary action the coming budget would proof to be a death sentence for the masses that are living their lives in poverty.

The current situation makes me wonder, where the hell we went wrong. For the past 8 or more years we were told that Pakistan is a prosperous country. We have tons of foreign reserves, every guy on the street has a cell phone (that explains the increase in street crimes), People in the Stock Exchange business are making money (Yaaay! :D :P ), in short we were made to believe that in these 8 long years under the umbrella of Musharraf and Shortcut Aziz’s our country is a Khushaal country (Prosporous).

But the so called credit card and (everything on) lease culture pushed us into a dead end. Will we be ever able to break on through to the other side? One can only wish.

For those who wonder what our great ex Prime Minister, along with our dearly beloved President used to do after working day in and day out for the poor awam of Pakistan. The following video answers a lot. If the Chairman CBR is this excited during the day what these guys do when the sun is down :P

sad to hear dat situation is gettin worst day by day but one can only pray for the good times to come rather than blaming ex and present prim miniters

I dont approve of giving these ppl a clean chit. They are responsible for bringing the nation to this day. They desrve capital punishment.

And who deserves capital punishment for where Pakistan stood in 1999?

i agree yasir thy deserve capital punishment big time but no one is capable enough to punish them and our country’s economy is degrading evry second n thy dnt gv a shit… its cx thy r not loyal wd da country thy want thr pockts n stomachs full dats it

@sumera

kab se nahee khaiii?? ;) :P

This establishment wasn’t present in 1999. How can a thing of the future be responsible for the past?

Haha :D

You are keeding me rite? The establishment (Army, Civil Services and Pro American rich guyz) have been controlling this country for more then 60 years.

3 PM’s of the country were killed and every person who uses its upper chamber knows who called the shots and who had the last laugh.

No I’m not kidding you.

There have been a lot of changes with time, in the army and the civil services.

Three PMs were killed, one was shot in 1951, not by the army but a civilian. The second was hanged for opposing America and the third, his daughter was killed for supporting America or rather using its support to ride back to the PM office.

Every person who uses his upper chamber does indeed know who called the shots, who benefit most from it and who became the King-Maker in Pakistani politics.

I don’t see this government doing any better. The budget is out and it officially sucks! All they can think of is to blame the previous government. I saw change under Musharraf, change for the better. Under this government i see us going back instead of moving forward.

@Ersalan

I dont wanna give the new Govt any pardon for not taking concrete steps in the first 2-3 months. But as far as the Mush’s Govt and its effects are concerned; our economy and people are here today because of the bull shit policies of the past 8 years.
