We Pakistani have this habit to make new records. And these records are not limited to the field of cricket only where we allow infant teams like Ireland (in last WC) and Bangladesh (96) to beat us in big tournaments of the only sport left (ie Cricket) that we are actually good at in comparison to other sports.

So I was talking about history making, we are making new records in the sport of politics. As the parliament is impeaching the President who himself hold quite a few local and world records. If I can recall when the retired general was frequently asked that when will he resign, his answer simply used to be that when the people will ask him to. That seems to be apparently an honest reply :P from a then straight forward General that he used to portray himself to be.

For those who don’t know all four provincial assemblies have shown distrust on the retired general for holding the office of Presidency. This disapproval came in the shape of resolution that was carried out separately in all four provinces. Though this resolution has no legal value but morally speaking it was yet again proved that the majority wants him sacked. And for some the story does not end here, they want him tried for the crimes he has committed in 9 long years. Please keep in mind that both MQM and PPP Sherpao did not support Musharraf in this provincial resolution. MQM chose to abstain and the ex federal minister Sherpaao’s party voted against Musharraf.

I think even a blind man can witness how things actually are. Even if you go on the streets and ask common men, the majority wants him out and tried for hundreds of cases and crimes.

Question is; cant he see that?

I am sure he can, but he will choose to ignore.

For what?

For the love of position, power and self esteem he will drag his feet. He will drag his feet for the love of Kursi, “his precious:P
