This nation despite its never ending tribulations have men and women who possess the ability to make us proud and Haider Ali is one of them. This young men on the 9th of September successfully bagged a Silver medal in the Long Jump event.  And the interesting point here is that he tied the World Record with Tunisian Farhat Chida at 6.44 meters, but net aggregate [PDF Result] placed him in second place and as a result he ended up with a bronze medal.Source
