Kabhee ham khoobsoorat thay
Kitaabon main basi khushbu ki maanind saans saakin thee
Bohat say ankahay lafzon say tasveerain banatay thay
Parindon kay paron per nazm likh ker,
door ki jheelon main basnain waalay logon ko sunaatay thay
Jo ham say door thay laikin, hamaray paas rehtay thay
Naye din ki musaafat jab kiran kay saath,
angan main utartee thee
Tu ham kehtay thay
“Ammi, titlion kay per bohat hee khoobsoorat hain”
Hamain maathay pey bosa do,,kay ham ko, titlion kay, jugnuon kay
des jaana hai
hamain rangon kay jugnoo, roshni ki titlian aawaz detee hain
Naye din ki musaafat rang main
doobi hawa kay saath khirki say bulaati hai
Hamain maathay pay bosa do…
Hamain maathay pay bosa do…
Hamain maathay pay bosa do…

Can they kill 1203Palestinians in 22 days including 368 children & 105 women, (5320 injured) ?

Can they prevent rescue workers (Red Cross and others) from reaching

Can they bomb schools with kids playing in the play ground and dont even care if its a UN held school?

Barack Obama in his speech to AIPAC (Americas Pro Israel Lobby) last year:

“Our (US-ISRAEL) alliance is based on shared interests and shared values. Those who threaten Israel threaten us. Israel has always faced these threats on the front lines. And I will bring to the White House an unshakable commitment to Israel’s security.
That starts with ensuring Israel’s qualitative military advantage. I will ensure that Israel can defend itself from any threat – from Gaza to Tehran.” (President-Elect Barack Obama) source
Iraq was invaded by US for WMDs that Iraq never had, but who stopped them from invading Iraq, killing innocent civilians and forming terror camps like Abu Garib? Bush is getting away with the blood of innocents on his hands and no court in the world is prosecuting this white collar murderer for his war crimes.
If there is anything like Justice in this world then all Murderers and terrorists should be dealt equally. If not then those who whine about world Peace and Justice should give up already because no matter how hard you try to stop the truth and oppress the weak it fire backs eventually.

Ever since the terrorist attacks in Mumbai the geopolitics of the IndoPak subcontinent has changed for worse. Individuals who have suffered the most are the one’s who played a good positive role in spreading peace. One big example is of Shakeel Siddqui (Pakistani standup comedian) who on Wednesday was beaten up by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena in Mumbai. Maybe they thought Shakeel was related to Ajmal Kasab (the terrorist in Indian custody).
Not the first event of its nature after the Taj incident in the heart of Mumbai, there is a series of unfortunate and unpleasant events which followed accordingly. Back in the past when tensions between the two neighbors use to rise, Cricket diplomacy was exercised to pin down the pressure but guess what the Indian cricket team refused to tour
“Is it possible for one team to arrive in Mumbai and indulge in mass murder, and have another team go and play cricket in the winter afternoon sun at Lahore, immediately after,” Gill said source
My comment: Apparently there is no difference in the eyes of Gill between a Pakistani cricket team and the team of terrorists who attacked Mumbai, a very reasonable theory indeed
I am hoping not all Indians are thinking on these lines or are they?

Ye na thee hamaree qismat ke wisaal-e-yaar hota
it was not in my fate to meet my lover
agar aur jeete rehte yahee intezaar hota
had I lived longer, this would still be my only desire
tere waade par jiye ham to ye jaan jhoot jaanaa
to live on your promise is to make my life a lie
ke khushee se mar na jaate agar ‘eitabaar hota
would I not have died of happiness if i trusted it
teree naazukee se jaana ke bandha tha ‘ehed_booda
from your frailty I learnt that the promise was delicate
kabhee too na tor sakta agar oostuwaar hota
it would not stand broken had you been determined
koee mere dil se pooche tere teer-e-neemkash ko
someone ask me about your half-drawn arrow
ye khalish kahaan se hotee jo jigar ke paar hota
would i even feel this pain if it had pierced my heart
ye kahaan ki dostee hai ke bane hain dost naaseh
what kind of friendship is this, that friends are now advisers
koee chaarasaaz hota, koee ghamgusaar hota
someone should ease my pain, someone sympathize with me
rag-e-sang se tapakta wo lahoo ki phir na thamta
from every nerve drips blood without restraint
jise gham samajh rahe ho, ye agar sharaar hota
as if that which you think is anguish is but a spark
gham agarche jaan_gulis hai, per kahaan bachain ke dil hai
threatening as love is, there is no deliverance from the heart
gham-e-ishq gar na hota, gham-e-rozgaar hota
if not the torment of love, it would be the torment of life
kahoon kis se main ke kya hai, shab-e-gham buree bala hai
whom shall I narrate the pangs of these evenings of sorrow
mujhe kya bura tha marna agar ek baar hota
i would have not resented this death, had it come only once
hue mar ke ham jo ruswa, hue kyon na gharq-e-dariya
that I died and was disgraced, why was I not just drowned
na kabhee janaaza uthata, na kaheen mazaar hota
never was there a funeral, no where was a tomb erected
usay kaun dekh sakta ke yagaana hai wo yaktaa
who can see him since his Oneness is without peer
jo dooee ki boo bhee hotee to kaheen do chaar hota
even the scent of his duality would be an introduction
ye masaail-e-tasawwuf, ye tera bayaan ‘Ghalib’!
this mysticism, these statements of yours Ghalib
tujhe ham walee samajhate, jo na baada_khwaar hota
you would be a saint, if only you were not inebriated
