Some how I can relate to this video. Have I ever been the target of racism? Race maybe not, discrimination yes sir. If you belong to a minority community of a society chances are that you will be treated unfairly at some point of time but should that allow you to have similar attitude when you are in command?

Getting the job done becomes quite difficult especially when your work is interdependent on others. But then there is no ideal working condition. You have to make the most of what you have and mould yourself accordingly; and this is the real test of your patience and self esteem. One thing that I have learned in the short span of my working experience is honesty, being honest with yourself and your work should be one’s agenda. No matter how big or small is the nature of your job or the size of your company; you should be honest with yourself and your work. Period!
Things don’t remain the same ever, and believe it or not luck plays a very mysterious role in your career. Dont agree with me on this one, so answer this simple question. If Bush was not such a big Screw Up, would there have been a Black President in a country like America? Obviously not
Coming back to the topic, I have decided to dedicate the year ’09 to personal grooming and improvement. Time management is the real focus, because if I am able to get a hang of it the rest of the puzzle pieces will fall in their respective positions. At least that’s what I am hoping
Ok, before this post sounds like the blogger I don’t

What ever happened today; will turn out to be bad for the country and democracy in Pakistan, those who believed that worse form of democracy is still better then any form of military rule are disgusted with the system they believe in. The country today is in no position of a political circus. The beneficiaries like always will be the undemocratic establishment and yet they have learned nothing
Slumdog Millionaire is a story of an under dog Jamal Malik, who grew up in the slums of Mumbai, faced tragedies at every phase of his life but his faith and destiny helped him to come out as a winner in the end. The film is based on a novel, Q&A, by the Indian writer and diplomat Vikas Swarup, and adapted by Simon Beaufoy, the British screenwriter of The Full Monty. The film has all the ingredients of a good film with the message of hope in the end that everything happens for a reason and misfortunes of the past helps you to be a better much stronger person. All you need is faith and determination.
Though the film was shot in India, has an Indian cast with background scores of AR RAHMAN and lyrics of Gulzar Sahab, but Slumdog is basically a British film of director Danny Boyle along with his non Indian crew. For Anil Kapoor fans this film is a treat as he perfectly impersonated the role of a Superstar cum Game Show host, who not only discourages our slum boy Jamal but tries to deceive him from winning the million dollar price. This role was previously offered to King Khan SRK but probably the short length and negativity of the role stopped him from playing the part in this film which later on became the most talked about film of the year.
Slumdog faced its share of controversy when Mr. Amitabh bachan in hisblog, slams the Oscar winner by saying:
“If ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ projects India as Third World dirty underbelly developing nation and causes pain and disgust among nationalists and patriots, let it be known that a murky underbelly exists and thrives even in the most developed nations,” he posted.
There is hardly any movie at the Academy Awards that truly deserve the best picture of the year award but in the recent history Slumdog Millionaire and Crash are two such movies that deserve all the appreciation and awards for the originality of the plot and brilliance of its cinematic attributes.

It’s quite commendable that Pakistani blogging community is maturing and individuals from different walks of life have decided to raise their voice and share their point of view and everyday experiences.
As I have mentioned many times before that we are aiming to make Teabreak a whole blogging suite and in the process a lot of features and modules have been added in the past few months, all the credit goes to our development team Asim (co-founder teabreak) and Assad (the new kid inthe team )
