And we lost the match

Sri Lankans are proverbial with the concept of terrorism. Back in ’96 World Cup when every cricket playing country refused to play a single ODI in Sri Linka, it was Pakistan and India that went their and showed solidarity with Sri Lankan brothers. Maybe this was the major reason that they despite every odd and propaganda decided to play cricket on the Pakistani soil. But we lost the trust the Lankans showed in us and our authorities.

The attackers who ever they might be succeeded in their target and placed a question mark on the cricketing future of the country. It’s high time that we raise our voices, our pen, our flags for peace and fight against terrorism which is a constant threat to Pakistan, its nation and the whole region.

very ironic !! A complete and total failure from our law enforcement agencies. The blame game this early is quite disgusting too. This act needs to be condemned in everyway possible.

Thats very bad

The imp question is who is to be termed responsible? Govt? Security agencies? Terrorsts? People? System? Lawyers? Politicians? Establishment? Even if people stand up and raise their voices but against whom? Its all blur.

Then the fact remains, the definition of terrorsm itself. where is it coming from, why, how and wat are we doing to curb it?

Is there anybody out there dignified enough to claim responsibility for all this situation in the country, rather then playing the blame game and justifying from mishaps in our history?

so many questions, no1 to give the answers.

Absolutely shocking Ammar. I don’t have words to express my shock.Very sad day for Cricket.
I hope and wish that we don’t have to witness incidents like these anywhere in the world ever.

Whether they were Indian trained terrorists or CIA backed extremists , like always there were locals involved who have given them safe place within the city. Our ‘Nero’ rulers playing their lyre while country burns.
Personally I am sad because of the ones died and the families they left behind. People will see and pay cricket, if not today then 10 years later but those policemen will not come back and 10s of lives are changed forever.

hmmmmmmm bad but not unexpected.I think South Asia has gone to the dogs finally.
