The 3 very basic necessities of anyone’s life; we can’t imagine a life without them or can we? A man or a woman can go to any level ensuring that they are not deprived of any of these basics from their lives. Even something as important as “education” looses its priority before these important items. For those who don’t follow the politics of this country where I live in the slogan of Roti Kapra and Makaan was used again and again to earn votes.
This election it’s a bit different, this time the poor Awam is desperate for a relief. The prices of daily usage items are sky high and if the people in charge don’t take any necessary action the coming budget would proof to be a death sentence for the masses that are living their lives in poverty.
The current situation makes me wonder, where the hell we went wrong. For the past 8 or more years we were told that Pakistan is a prosperous country. We have tons of foreign reserves, every guy on the street has a cell phone (that explains the increase in street crimes), People in the Stock Exchange business are making money (Yaaay! ), in short we were made to believe that in these 8 long years under the umbrella of Musharraf and Shortcut Aziz’s our country is a Khushaal country (Prosporous).
But the so called credit card and (everything on) lease culture pushed us into a dead end. Will we be ever able to break on through to the other side? One can only wish.
For those who wonder what our great ex Prime Minister, along with our dearly beloved President used to do after working day in and day out for the poor awam of Pakistan. The following video answers a lot. If the Chairman CBR is this excited during the day what these guys do when the sun is down

Yeh bach-cha kaisa bach-cha hai
Jo rait pay tanha betha hai
Na is kay pait maiN roti hai
Na is kay tun per kapra hai
Na is kay sir pay topi hai
Na is kay pairr main joota hai
Na is kay pass khilonon main
Koi bhaloo hay, koi ghora hai
Na is ka ji behlanay ko
Koi lori hay, koi jhoola hai
Na is ki jaib main dhay-la hai
Na is kay hath main paisa hai
Na is kay ammy abboo hain
Na is ki aapa khala hai
Yeh saray jug main tanha hai
Yeh bach-cha kaisa bach-cha hai
